چکیده

Abstract Characterizations of round wires iron-based superconductors were performed by using two different X-ray techniques. The core the wire turns out to be concentrically textured. texturing parameter ( r ) defined = I (002)/ (103) has a clear correlation with value critical current density J c wire. Using ~18 m-long (Ba, A )Fe 2 As : K, Na) wires, small magnets was constructed and successfully generated magnetic field as large 3.1 kOe at 53 A. for magnet carefully cut local variation evaluated. Variation area also measured tomography segments largest smallest . Obtained images demonstrates that certain degree sausaging effect it good minimum segment, record-high 71 kA/cm 100 been achieved.

Magnetic Field Dependence of the Transport Critical Current Density in the Superconductor Family ReBa2Cu3O7-x

The magnetic field dependence of the transport critical current density has been investigated at temperatures of 78K and 68K in bulk polycrystalline samples of the hightemperature superconductor ReBa2Cu3O7-x, where Re (rare earth) = Y (yttrium), Er (erbium), Yb (ytterbium), Ho (holmium), and Dy (dysprosium). Samples were sintered in 1⁄4 inch pellet form after the conventional ceramic processing...

Comparison of growth texture in round Bi2212 and flat Bi2223 wires and its relation to high critical current density development

Why Bi(2)Sr(2)CaCu(2)Ox (Bi2212) allows high critical current density Jc in round wires rather than only in the anisotropic tape form demanded by all other high temperature superconductors is important for future magnet applications. Here we compare the local texture of state-of-the-art Bi2212 and Bi2223 ((Bi,Pb)(2)Sr(2)Ca(2)Cu(3)O(10)), finding that round wire Bi2212 generates a dominant a-axi...

B2223 High Temperature Superconductor wires in silver sheath, filament diameter effect on critical temperature and current density

B2223 High Temperature Superconductor (HTSC) has been prepared as a pellet by solid state reaction. Then, HTSC wires were fabricated from the prepared superconductor using powder in tube (PIT) method utilizing silver as the tube material. Superconductor powder was packed in the pure silver tube of about 4.5 mm diameter, and 50mm long. The prepared wires are of three types; with monofilament MOF...

Distinct doping dependence of critical temperature and critical current density in Ba1−xKxFe2As2 superconductor

Since the high transition temperature (High-Tc) superconductivity was discovered in the series of materials containing iron (Fe), their potential for the applications has been extensively scrutinized. In particular, a lot of effort has been made in achieving the high current-carrying ability by revealing the vortex pinning behavior. Here, we report on the critical current density (Jc) for the p...

Biotemplated synthesis of an ordered macroporous superconductor with high critical current density using a cuttlebone template.

Periodic superconducting, porous self-supporting monoliths were synthesized using cuttlebone as a morphological template; this produced a lightweight, structurally stable superconductor with a greatly improved critical current density.
